Josh Mosley aka the Holy Assassin. I’m a native of California and have been raping for Christ since 2000. In 2001 I put out my first CD called “He Rap Da Word”. That’s what I do. In 2004 I put out another CD called “Real Rap”. Now in 2010 I have raised the bar and put out my 3rd CD called “Holy Assassin presents The Women”.
The theme of this CD is to address the issue of abuse and violence against women. So many women in America and around the world are being abused and there is also to much violence going on against them. It is very evident just by watching the news. It is startling how many women are abused and killed everyday. This is something God put on my heart that is the reason for this new CD I am trying to get the message across through my rap and plant the seed in the minds of the people who listen to this CD to stop it. Stop the abuse and violence! The first track on this CD is called “Stop It”. I rap on the track about stopping the abuse and violence and I rap to the men and tell them it is not OK to hurt a woman.
Well, I grew up in a Christian home and God always had his hand on my life he has always kept me on the straight and narrow and he has given me the talent to rap. That is why I rap for him and not the world. My goal is to obtain the wealth that I believe God has ordained for his children so that I can fund the gospel of Jesus Christ and help abused and battered women in America and all over the world. Until now the hip hop/rap world has been a source of degradation and disdain for women and promotion of violence and substance abuse. I am joining with the other Christian artists who are cleaning up the Rap genre to Stop it!
The word says all things are possible to those that believe, so, I believe and not only that I shall receive for my self only. A portion of the money I receive on this CD will go to the Family Crisis Center in my city to help out women abused or in need.
